The Bondolio olio nuovo events have begun – the first 3 Sundays in December (3, 10, 17), from 10 AM to 4 PM, you can stop by and taste our new oil made from this season’s harvest. This will be our fourth New Oil event and it’s all about enjoying an Italian tradition of sampling the year’s new oil. We know you will enjoy the buttery, grassy flavors and the wonderful aromas of our Olio Nuovo. So the bottom line is either visit rural villages between Padova & Catania or, stop by Bondolio in Winters California for this wonderful experience and skip the part where you fly thru 8 time zones.
The Bondolio pizza oven is fired up and the ‘Hot Italian’ will be producing pizzas faster than you can say mozzarella.
In addition to a limited amount of our fresh nuovo olio, our store also has new balsamic treats, an amazing maple syrup from a small farm in Vermont, various delectables selected by Karen (Bondolio’s chief taster) and of course the mill will be open for touring – promising a fun time at the farm for everyone.
