The New York International Olive Oil Competition- Bondolio Wins Gold Medals- NYIOOC

The Bondolio team is honored again with winning gold at the prestigious International New York Olive Oil Competition. This year’s competition included about 700 entrants with judges from a dozen olive oil producing countries. The results of this competition also placed Bondolio into the rarified list of Best Olive Oils of The World “This New York competition completes a straight run of Golds for our 2012-13 Bondolio, only our third harvest. We still have much to learn about this business but I think we are on a very good trajectory in our farming practices and of course the varietals we imported from Italy”, says Karen Bond. “Now we just need to continue our strategies in proving California olive oil can be just as good if not superior to European oils”.
